Lowering Spring
Blue Thunder Lowering Springs are cold coiled out of high quality oil tempered steel wire. This method is relatively new and was developed for the manufacturing of valve springs which are exposed to high load demands and therefore must be very durable.

One of the advantages that cold coiling provides is that with the modern machines most types of springs can be manufactured and still keep pace with today's ever increasing demand for lighter and smaller springs.

Blue Thunder Lowering Springs are designed with help of a computerized spring calculation program which is developed to calculate the relation between compression and force. Therefore, the spring's characteristics can be stimulated before production. All springs are throughly tested and documented during and after production by comparing them with a so called master spring.

Blue Thunder Lowering Springs have been developed to improve the car's road handling and at the same time gives it a more sporty appearance. These springs are generally a bit "stiffer" than the original springs, which improves the road handling and stability of the car.
